2. 澎湖へはどのように行く？

日本から台湾までは飛行機でわずか 3～4 時間で、台湾の複数の都市から澎湖(ポンフー)行きの定期便が毎日出ています。

 

2. How do I get to Penghu?

It only takes 3–4 hours by plane from Japan to Taiwan, and there are daily flights from multiple cities in Taiwan to Penghu.

3. 滞在はどこですか？

IRONMAN台湾は澎湖で最もリーズナブルなホテルと提携しており、一つはシャートン澎湖、もう一つはディスカバリーホテルです。どちらも澎湖の繁華街にあり、イベント会場はシェラト ン澎湖のため、アクセスも至近です。

 

3. Where will I stay?

IRONMAN Taiwan partners with the most affordable hotels in Penghu: Sheraton Penghu and Discovery Hotel. Both are located in downtown Penghu, and since the race venue is at Sheraton Penghu, accessibility is excellent.

4. 自転車はどうやって預ければいいですか？

✈️ 飛行機でのアクセス – 澎湖へ行くには

  • 澎湖は海路・空路のみでアクセス可能。空路が主な移動手段。

  • 毎日30便以上が UNI Air（立榮航空） と Mandarin Airlines（華信航空） で澎湖馬公空港（MZG）へ運航。出発地は 台北、台中、台南、高雄。

  • Penghu can be reached only by sea or air; flights are the main option.

5. どのような気候ですか？

澎湖はハワイの熱帯気候に似ていて、風が弱く、温暖で湿度が高い気候です。KONA前の準備レースとしても最適！

 

5. What’s the climate like?

Penghu has a tropical climate similar to Hawaii, with mild winds, warm temperatures, and high humidity. It’s the perfect preparation race before KONA!

6. どんな観光がありますか？

澎湖は歩いて行ける距離に世界遺産級の集落や寺院がたくさんあり、スクーターで島巡りもできます！私たちのお気に入りをいくつかご紹介します。

  • 澎湖天后宮(台湾最古のお寺！)
  • 西瀛虹橋（澎湖を代表する観光スポット）
  • 北辰市場（地元の人が新鮮な食材を買い求める場所） 二坎古里（家屋の壁がサンゴや貝殻で作られている）
  • 大国岳柱状玄武岩(ここにしかない地形が織りなす景観を堪能するために、必ず時間を確保されることをおすすめします！)
  • 双心石堰 @七美島（象徴的な二重のハート岩）
  • ウォータースポーツ @吉貝島 (SUP、セーリング、カヤック、シュノーケリングなどが楽しめます！)

 

6. What sightseeing is available?

Penghu is filled with heritage-level villages and temples within walking distance, and you can also explore the islands by scooter! Here are some of our favorites:

  • Penghu Tianhou Temple (the oldest temple in Taiwan!)

  • Xiying Rainbow Bridge (a Penghu landmark)

  • Beichen Market (where locals shop for fresh produce)

  • Erkan Historic Village (houses built with coral and shells)

  • Daguoye Columnar Basalt (a must-see natural wonder unique to Penghu!)

  • Twin-Heart Stone Weir @ Qimei Island (the iconic double-heart rock formation)

  • Water sports @ Jibei Island (SUP, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, and more!)
